Waterfront (CPR) Station - Canada Line Connector

• We created a visually interesting transition between two vastly different but connecting spaces: the neoclassical hall of the Waterfront station and the high-tech modern style of the Canada Line station.
• To address the challenge of lighting corridor with no ceiling space over half the width and tremendously tight 5" ceiling space over the other half, we "bent" the light. This design treatment produced dynamic shadows and reflections, engaging commuters along their walk through the long connector and seamlessly unfolding into a ceiling "wave" of Canada Line Waterfront station.
