VanDusen Botanical Garden

The Visitor Centre was inspired by the organic forms and natural systems of a native orchid. An elegant lighting scheme reveals the orchid shape with a magical glow. VanDusen Botanical Garden's new Visitor Centre was designed by the renowned architects Perkins+Will as a signature green facility that exceeds LEED® Platinum and attains the most stringent measurement of sustainability in the built environment, the Living Building Challenge (LBC).
